| How can I register my Android cell phone or device to use my vidaTone service? |
| First make sure you have downloaded the latest vidaTone app to your Android device and have your vidaTone account activated. Start vidaTone app on your Android device and "Save" the "Easy configuration" settings.. Press "Add account" link and enter your "Account Name / Phone number" shown on My vidaTone page into the "User" field on your device; use your "Device / Authentication Password" as your "Password" on your device. Save the change and your device should register with your vidaTone account on our server. |
| How can I call my friends for free? |
| Invite your friends to open vidaTone accounts and add them into your contacts. Press "buddy" on the top right corner in vidaTone app on your Android device, you should see your friends shown in your "buddy list". If you see the green dot of your friend light up, press your friend's name and choose "vidaTone" to make a free call. |
| How can I add my friends into my contacts? |
| The vidaTone app will sync your contacts on your device with your vidaTone account on our server automatically after it starts up. The app will filter out all those friends that already have vidaTone accounts on the server and put them into your "buddy list". If you know your friend's vidaTone Account Number (10 digit number) you can also add your friend manually into your "buddy list" by pressing "buddy" on top right corner then press "Add Buddy" on your device. Enter your friend's name and his/her Account Name (10-digit number) and check "Subscribe" to show his/her status. |
| How can I make a long distance or international calls from my vidaTone? |
| You can call any number in USA or Canada, by dialing 1+area code + phone number or make an international long distance call, by dialing: 011+country code + phone number.
Note: you may need to top up your account to make a long distance call. |
| What are my calling rates for long distance calls? |
| Please refer to our calling rates on our web site. |
| Can I use my vidaTone app as my vidaTeam extension? |
| Yes, you can. You need to sign up for our vidaTeam service, add an extension for your vidaTone app by using the self-management page, then register your vidaTone app to the extension. Your vidaTone can make and receive phone calls from your vidaTeam PBX. |
| Can I use my vidaTone app and vidaTone account to access Global Conerence? |
| Yes, you can. Just dial 2663 to access the conference bridge. In fact, you can use any SIP based devices to access the conference in the same way. |
Can I have more than one inbound phone numbers for my vidaTeam?
Can I use my own SIP device for my vidaTeam extensions?
Do I need both vidaTone account and vidaTeam account?
| What's the term of contract? |
| There is no contract for vidaTeam service. Just send us an email with your account number and contact number. We will credit your account for any unused services. |
| Can I have more than one inbound phone number for my vidaTeam? |
| Yes, you can. Just sign up for the vidaTeam service, then click the "manage" button to apply for more phone numbers. |
| Can I use my own SIP device for my vidaTeam extensions? |
| Yes, you can use any SIP 2.0 compatible devices as your vidaTeam extensions. However, we do have a recommended list of devices. You can also purchase your SIP devices from us. | Do I need both vidaTone account and vidaTeam account? |
| No, you do not need to, because your vidaTone app on your cell phone can be registered to either of the accounts. But you may want to keep both accounts if you want to seperate personal and business activities. |

| Sorry, we do not offer post-pay service for vidaTeam. |
| Can I make payment from Paypal or bank wiring? |
| Yes, you can. However, it may not be instant for crediting your account. Please contact us for instructions. We do not think Paypal is a safe online payment system. Therefore, for security reasons, please try to use our online credit card processor for your fund transfer. |
| Can I make payment by credit cards? |
| Yes, you can make credit card payment by Paypal. |
| What happens if I run out of funds in my account? |
| You will not be able to make long distance calls, if your account balance is too low to cover the costs. However, you should be able to receive phone calls or make free calls to your friends or your vidaTeam extensions by 3-digit dialing. Your account may be deactivated, if you do not pay your monthly service fees for more than one month. |
